I set up Clinic Works because I’ve seen, again and again, how hard it is for clinic owners and freelance therapists to deliver exceptional care while juggling the weight of day-to-day operations. Most people get into a care role (be that Human or Animal Health) because they love helping others – not because they want to spend their evenings buried in admin, systems, and decisions that never seem to end.
But great care depends on great business. When operations are chaotic, everything suffers: staff, patients, revenue, and the owner’s wellbeing. When operations run smoothly, everyone thrives.
Clinic Works exists to bridge that gap.

Why I Created Clinic Works
I’ve spent my career in roles that sit at the crossroads of people, systems, design, and operational clarity.
I started as a web developer and graphic designer, building clean, functional systems and experiences. I learnt how to take an idea and turn it into something simple, structured, and useful—skills that turned out to be invaluable later in business.
As a Chief Operating Officer in the veterinary sector, I saw the operational challenges that service-based clinics face: inconsistent processes, reliance on the owner, lack of clarity, and systems held together with good intentions and sticky tape. I also saw how the right systems and automation could transform stress into stability.
Through my roles as a trustee and non-executive director, I developed strong governance instincts – how to see the bigger picture, how to build accountability, and how to guide organisations safely and sustainably. This gave me the ability to support others not just in day-to-day operations, but in long-term direction.
Across all these roles, I noticed a common truth: Clinics succeed when the business behind the care is strong.
And most clinic owners don’t have access to the operational expertise they need to build that strength.
So I created Clinic Works to change that.
